That led me to dentistry and gave me a real-life picture of the kind of dentist I always try to be for those I get to serve.”

Island Life
Although he was born in Richmond, Virginia, he grew up on the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean. His island upbringing taught Dr. Fred the value of warmth and kindness as he watched his dentist parents serve people with deep compassion and real love.
Dental Training
Dr. Fred earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Howard University. He went on to the University of Washington School of Dentistry to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following graduation, he returned to St. Lucia to serve patients alongside his parents.
WEDENTAL
With a desire to bring the warmth of the islands to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Fred returned to Washington to create WEDENTAL. Led by a heart for smiles, patients enjoy the best technology and modern advancements dentistry has to offer with Dr. Fred’s expertise in needle-free care, Invisalign, orthodontics, and dental implants.
Home Life
He loves spending time with his 3 children and wife, Maryam. He also enjoys traveling, cycling, time with friends and family, the outdoors, and especially the sun. Traveling, cycling, and spending time with friends and family is what Dr. Fred loves most. Growing up on an island, he has a passion for swimming and sport fishing. He’s always ready to hear a great fishing story!

For years I have feared and hated the dentist, then Dr. Worrell introduced himself. Unfortunately I had to have my teeth removed which was a painful and shocking procedure, but at the end of it all not only did I shake this man's hand but I gave him a hug. The whole staff here was compassionate from day 1.
